Saxifraga reuteriana was created by Mark Childerhouse

I find S.reuteriana fairly easy outside. It produces tons of seed and germinates freely. I have always put it in a shaded position but I think given more sun it would produce more lovely red foliage in mid summer. The plant I grow came from Rick Lambert and I believe was originally collected by Kees Jan Zwienen. I have plenty of young plants and will be planting out soon.

I grow mine in a trough, mostly in shade but I find it a very slow grower in my purely mineral soil mix
